Palagonia is a small typical sicilian city nearby Catania.

The economy is based on the cultivation of citrus fruits, mainly oranges, which are exported in all Europe by their inimitable taste. Among the rich citrus groves there are important ruins, so in this land you can breathe culture, history and tradition... you can breathe this elements every time you open our boxes Worthy of note is the Byzantine Hermitage of Santa Febronia, a rock church entirely carved into the rock of the sixth century, probably it derived from a previous prehistoric tomb, with many frescoes from different eras; in the floor of this church there is a pit for immersion baptism, later transformed into a drier.
Every year in Palagonia a great procession carries  the relic of Santa Febronia to the hermitagein. Santa Febronia is the protector of the city, she is nicknamed "a 'Santuzza", the local farmers entrust the fate of their harvest to her, every year, every day...

Among the citrus groves, which existed since the end of the 16th century, wells were dug to find the water needed to irrigate these precious plants during the torrid Sicilian summers. The production of oranges has always satisfied the primary needs of a population now expert in the cultivation of citrus fruits. Structures were built around the wells, such as the well Blandini which, with its six meters height, dominates the land around.

An important event is the Red Pulp Orange Fest, where you can taste all the products derivates from citrus and meet all our community.
